I was honored and grateful to have this one line haiku selected as 3rd choice for the special theme of “Justice” for the sixth IAFOR Vladimir Devidé Haiku Award.

I was fortunate enough and grateful to have one of my verses published by the online journal tinywords issue 16.1| 5 April 2016.
The inspiration for this verse was the great Issa who wrote plenty of verses that focused on the beauty and wonder of cherry blossoms.
A good source for more of Issa’s work is the website haikuguy.com.
One of my favorite haiku written by Issa is as follows:
feeding the whole
neighborhood…
cherry blossoms
